CommissionIQ vs Sales Cookie
Both are month-to-month with published prices. CommissionIQ is HubSpot-only and costs $97/month including 5 rep seats, then $9/month per additional active rep, with admins free. It writes commission cost onto HubSpot deals and creates commission bills in QuickBooks.
Sales Cookie works with many systems, including HubSpot, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Stripe, PayPal and recruiting tools. It costs $40 or $60 per user per month, where users include admins, and its 14-day trial needs no card.
Pick CommissionIQ for a HubSpot-only team that wants commission data in HubSpot. Pick Sales Cookie if you pull commission data from several systems.

Who should pick which
Pick CommissionIQ if HubSpot is your only CRM, you want commission cost reported inside HubSpot, you pay contractors through QuickBooks bills, and you'd rather not pay for admin seats.
Pick Sales Cookie if your commissions draw on data outside HubSpot, such as Salesforce, Stripe or recruiting systems, you want to trial without a card, or you need white labeling or API access (Business+).
What does each cost at 5, 15 and 40 reps?
- 5 reps and 1 admin. CommissionIQ costs $97/month. Sales Cookie Business costs $240/month: 6 users at $40, admin included, before volume discounts.
- 15 reps and 1 admin. CommissionIQ costs $187/month. Sales Cookie Business costs $640/month: 16 users at $40, admin included, before volume discounts.
- 40 reps and 1 admin. CommissionIQ costs $412/month. Sales Cookie Business costs $1,640/month: 41 users at $40, admin included, before volume discounts.
At 40 reps that's $4,944 a year on CommissionIQ and $19,680 a year on Sales Cookie Business before volume discounts. Sales Cookie's price covers data from systems outside HubSpot, which CommissionIQ doesn't read.
Monthly list prices from each vendor's public pages as of Oct 19, 2026, for a team with one admin. Taxes and volume discounts aren't included. CommissionIQ doesn't charge for admins.
What should you check before switching from Sales Cookie?
- List every data source. If commissions depend on Stripe, PayPal, Salesforce or a recruiting system, CommissionIQ can't see that data.
- Count your admins. Sales Cookie bills for every admin. CommissionIQ bills only for active reps.
- Plan the trial. Sales Cookie's trial needs no card and comes with demo data. CommissionIQ's needs a card, with $0 due, and runs on your own HubSpot deals.
- Check white labeling and the API. Sales Cookie Business+ includes both. commissioniq.tech doesn't list either.
What doesn't CommissionIQ do?
- HubSpot only. It doesn't work with Salesforce, Pipedrive or Close. That's on purpose: it reads deals and payments natively and writes commission back onto the deal.
- No payroll. It doesn't run payroll or process payments. Each 1099 contractor gets one QuickBooks bill per period in Accounts Payable. Employees get a payroll summary instead.
- Not listed. ASC 606, multi-currency, a public API and SSO aren't listed on commissioniq.tech.
- Card to start. The 14-day trial needs a card, with $0 due today. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing.
How do you test CommissionIQ on your last pay period?
- Connect HubSpot. Create your account, click Connect HubSpot, approve the permissions and map your sales roles. Most teams are calculating commissions within 15 minutes.
- Build your plans as drafts. Enter each plan in the Commission Wizard and save it as a draft. A draft pays nothing.
- Back-test your last closed period. Run each plan against that period. Compare what it would have paid each rep with what you actually paid.
- Check a refund. CommissionIQ finds refunds in your HubSpot payment records and sizes each reversal to the payment the rep was paid on. Nothing reverses until you approve it.
- Decide before day 14. If the numbers don't match, cancel before day 14 and you're never charged.
